Westshore Launched Mobile Ozone Groundwater Cleanup Unit
Westshore is pleased to announce that it launched its new, state-of-the-art mobile ozone remediation trailer in mid-October. The new system was installed at a former gasoline station in Northern Michigan with groundwater contamination present as a result of a leaking underground storage tank system.
The ozone system is capable of producing nearly 3 pounds of ozone daily, allowing for the clean-up of 18 pounds of contaminants per month. Additionally, the in-situ cleanup of contamination is encouraged by infusing the groundwater with free oxygen.
